Krystal's Quest to be a Disney Cast Member

My friend (Krystal) and I applied to work at Disney World for the CRP. I got in first, (arrival is December 2nd) and then she was on the waiting list. She found out April 9th that she would be leaving May 6th. (She had never been to Disney World, or Florida before and in less then a month she would be moving.) So I made this video for her, it is a bit of a surprise. She has only been there... well a month and a half so she did not have TONS of pictures to choose from, but either way I hope she likes it.

Songs are Disney songs, pictures are taken by her or I, or someone else. But came from one of our two cameras. (Obviously the ones down there came from her.)

I lived in Vista way. It was gross LOL and we had roaches. Housing really sucked LOL. Here is some advice for the newer CP. I know its really exciting that you're going to be working at Disney but they don't play around. If you get on their bad side your basically screwed lol Have fun and enjoy your program but you're also there to work. Trust me they work you like a slave at times and sometimes you may want to just KILL yourself! its a strange but wonderful experience so don't F it up!

@ilovedisney84 Oh man that sucks. Sorry to hear your contract was a hard one. I did hear Vista Way was like that more. It is much older then the others. I had one cockroach in the Commons, but it was cause I took in a chair from a throw out that maybe had it. Cause it was only one. As for work, I found Disney wasn't up for firing you as much as housing was. Housing was a pain in the... but work we were treated great. But like every huge company it depends where you are.

I applied to the program and they hired me!! so I´m gonna travel on November.. I´m gonna work at the position of Quick Service Food and Beverage... that was my first option .. so I´m happy too :) I wanna go now!!! I´m so excited... =) and I´m gonna stay for 3 and a half months.. so it´s gonna be such a wonderful experience =) ...

Your doing the College Program then I take it? I don't know of what other ones they have for shorter then a year so let me know if I am wrong. :) What day in November? I have been wondering when the arrival group of November is. I am so excited to go down. I found on in February that I would be leaving Dec.2nd. Man it is such a long slow wait sometimes. :) Let me know when you get down there, if you can, where your working. When I get there I will come and say hi. :)

Mine will be a Food and Beverage position in the Canadian Pavilion. (In Epcot) Which was my first choice, so I am happy. :)

Krystal, the girl in the video, works in the Canadian Pavilion now, she sells merchandise to the guests.

What job are you hoping to get there? :)

@ilovedisney84 It was hard at first. Its an experience you're gonna have to get use to. But i did have a blast none the less. I actually left with a REALLY good review. All "leading the way" I may go back in Jan 2011 and TRY to get into some sort of professional internship. Who know's well see :D

I want to work there for the summers of 2011 and 2012 to save for college. I'm a freshman in highschool now but I might wait another year for college depending on where I want to go and if we have the money or not. Any info you can tell me about working there would be awesome =]

I love this video. I started my Disney Career as a Cp. I,also, lived at Chatham. I did mine way back in 2002. That year Vista Way was rated #1 in the country to get laid. Haha.

I worked at WL in F&B. Now, I work in Tomorrowland in attractions.
