Sajjad Ali- A Tribute

A tribute to the outstanding tabla player Sajjad Ali who passed away in Lahore on 29th December 2008. A senior disciple of the illustrious Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan, Sajjad was considered amongst Pakistan's leading accompanists. His loss is a big setback to the "barjasta" form of tabla playing propagated by Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan.

Sajjad was a great tabla player & i have spend like almost 2 months with him in doha qatar it was realy good time for me i never knew that he died i feel so SAD naw... on 29th december i was by Ustad Ghulam sajjad and i asked him where is Ustad Tafo Khan and he zold me that a great tabla player die today and Ustad Tafo Khan is at hos house !! RIP
