so this is openBVE, not the normal BVE?

This was recorded using mackoy's Track Viewer. BVE 4 can't cope with the detail, and openBVE didn't exist at the time I made the video. I created the video using a macro which automatically saved a screen capture and moved the camera forward 1 metre at a time (and then I left this running overnight), and then I compiled all the resulting the screen captures into the video clips shown.

openBVE can run the route with this level of detail thankfully, although a pretty fast PC will be required. :)

Yes I'll need several beta testers, so I can have the route tested on a variety of hardware configurations and find out what amount of detail will give acceptable framerates on various systems. It'll be a while before the first beta is ready, but I'll let you know when it is. :)

openBVE is the follow-up of BVE. this version will be open source, so it will be available for Windows, Linux, Mac and whatever platform you like :P

An amazing peice of work that will certainly stand a testimont to its creators an the train simming genre for a while.

My only concern is that people wont appreciate the effort its taken. A 7min video flashes passed probably thounsands of hours of work.

Still excellent stuff, and I hope you get where your going in life :)
