This is typical of the self imposed totalitarian state, a complete and utter obedience is required. Even if there is a massive spinning vortex under the bed!

  • "The Official Parenting Manual of the State"...brilliant. Love the characters... twisted, manipulated and preciously vulnerable.

  • @NiteLiterr Its worrying, but you get those sometimes, in some places.. only they don't say its a parenting manual.. and in other places, its the acceptable parenting practices recommended by the state which you pay for.. and its a book with blank pages...most don't get it, you have to write it yourself ;) and it may not even be acceptable.

  • was kinda funny and kinda creepy to.

that is an fact how many people and parrents think.

GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE BOX

  • @theshisnit2000 yeah, the way things are going, more stories from the depths of the US, UK and Australia you got to wonder, where does the control system really end? I think it starts with saying, "you can't yell at your children if they do something wrong because that's wrong, but please drug them instead..".

  • The other day I saw a child screaming because he hadn't eaten all day long. I told his mother she was a bad parent and instead of trying to get a voucher to take a cab to the food pantry she should simply go to the free clinic and get the doctor to prescribe some SSRI's that would cure her child of the irrational fear that hunger would lead to death. In the meantime I gave them both some leftover Effexor I had and reminded them not to worry and that attitude was everything.

  • I'm certain the doctor would dare to supply them with apples to hold them over for a few days rather than a bunch of drugs, but you know me, I have too much faith in humanity!

  • The irrational fear that hunger would lead to death she said? My son would go into a tail spin once his blood sugar starts to drop, and so many people know that this mechanism in the body will lead to a bad mood. The Jains ever wrote about it in ancient texts how a person can be completely transformed by this need for the brain to be fed, even if by sugar. Not simple sugar either. Was there no ability to get an apple into the poor thing? Is it really turning to this in the US? Really harsh.

  • And I meant to say. This was a really good one.

  • Thank you :* I put in in forums-life-Parenting and related issues. If you want to go see it ;)

    :)

  • No problem, if I have "disabled" embedding, then it would be, but its not and its free to enjoy and spread around :D
