http://www.tamiclose.com Be still and know that everything is as it should be.

When I was in my jacuzzi the other day, I noticed something very profound. I was very still and looked down in the water, and could see the reflection of me, the sky, the trees, and the clouds. I hadn't really noticed this before as the view from my jacuzzi is very captivating, and thus I'm usually basking in the view "out there." And yet, I was bringing this into my awareness to fully appreciate my reflection.

We are all reflections, mirrors so to speak. And everything that we experience is a reflection of what is within us. We are reflecting all the time, whether we are consciously aware or not.

Yet, the reflections can only be experienced and be seen and felt when we are still. Likewise, reflections in water can only be seen and felt when waters are still. The reflections are there in us and in the water, it's just we can't see them when the waters have waves present. It is these "reflective" moments where we are to pause and feel our own sense of calm despite what the waves represent in our lives.

And, like Masuro Emoto, the author of Hidden Messages in Water, says that we are 75-80% water, half of the earth is water, and we are an energy conduit that never rests. We're constantly transmitting energy information to the Universe and receiving it back in return. Everything is vibration, and when it's exposed to kind and loving thoughts, then it will transmit back experiences that are true reflection. In addition, when it's exposed to thoughts of judgment and alike, it will also transmit back experiences that are true reflection.

With high speed photography, Masuro Emoto, takes pictures of water in its pure state of being, its pure form. Water exposed to a vibration of kindness and love reflect an image that is crystal-like, similar to a snowflake. Water exposed to harsher tones result in shapes that are murky, dull and fragmented.

You can look at it from this perspective....

In talking to a friend recently, she mentioned that her 16 month old daughter, Hannah, was hearing her tones loud and clear, and was reflecting back something very profound. My friend expressed dismay to Hannah, and delivered a harsh tone, "Hannah, did you spill the juice on the carpet?" Without missing a beat, Hannah pointed the finger at Hannah's dad. My friend was captivated by this experience as she and her husband hadn't taught Hannah to lie. But hearing the "tone" from her mom, Hannah immediately went into "alert" mode, and it got expressed to her in this way, "You're going to be in trouble. Get out your ammo and point the finger at someone else".....and the closest person was her dad.

Funny picture, right? Yet, how many times have you done this because of a perceived tone?

As a 54 year old woman, I've done this many times during my life time, and not just as a child. Even in my adult life, I can still point the finger at someone else. Taking 100% responsibility for my own vibratory tones can be like a big "Owie," so it feels good to point at someone else and make them the cause of my tone. I like to point the finger and say, "You are the cause of my effect! :)

When you look at us, and the entire Universe as water, as a reflective mirror, everything only hears our tones. Everything has points of consciousness, and thus, it is our "feeling" place that emanates from us. In each moment, think about this: "What am I feeling, and how is it being reflected out into the Universe, and what will I get back as a result of this feeling?" Remember, the boomerang! Invariably, you'll get the "right back at ya" whether you want it or not.

I only want to feel good, and if I'm feeling anything that is in contrast to this, I'm changing my ring tone to play James Brown, "I feel good!"

What does your current ring tone sound like?

  • Hey Brambleiah, Thanks for the comment on the view. I used to be city oriented as well, and living in nature is truly an experience of silent reflection. You're my neighbor to the south, and Portland definitely has some scenic spots. Enjoy your contemplation!

  • Beautiful view! I live in Portland, Oregon, and it's beautiful here, but lately I've had some very strong feelings to move and live in nature and not in the busy city anymore.
