Twelve weeks ago Pepper's Patriots began as a troup of eight die-hards. As the weeks passed, new people joined the weekly protest rally at 5PM. Soon the protest was a celebration of America.
This spontaneous grass roots tea party has matured into a symbol of citizen participation that all of Connecticut is noticing. The last four weeks in a row, an average of 50 people assembled in front of the Cheshire Town Hall.
New friendships are forged. Political connections are formed. Resolve resonates among these activists. They will never be silent again. They are here to educate, motivate and activate. It is inspiring to see.
