Shortly after my wife died and before I got involved with the joys of social networking I attended a course of creative writing. This story is a result of a set exercise using a restricted word count written in class in a limited time and of course with editing it could be improved but I hope that you enjoy and your comments would be appreciated.

  • is this a true story or are you making it up

  • @basicloner Elements of the story had some truth in that I did stay with the son of the Reeves family when they went out with my parents but the rest is imagination.

  • i just turned seventeen, and i swear i would rather sit down with you and have a cup of coffee and just listen to you tell stories about the past, or even ones like this, instead of going out and partying, or watching tv all day long. more teenagers should watch your videos.

  • @c0000lcat Thank you, it is nice to know that some young people like yourself look at my videos. I have written many more stories but they are too long to read and keep the attention of many.

  • Captivating storytelling! Thank you for sharing your work like this. While I agree that your writing is good enough to publish, I must admit I do quite prefer the special charm and delivery that you add in your videos.

  • you should wright books!

  • Thank you for making these videos, i am a 16 year old boy in america and i agree with c0000lcat with him saying that i would rather watch your videos than any other stupid things!

  • Like this if you think This man should be a Author/Writer

  • My phone began ringing as you got into the story_ ignoring the phone's demanding ring tone was easy, so well did your story telling hold me. However much truth or the lack thereof, thank you for the drama. Excellent!

  • Having just finished a creative writing class and communications, I will be the first to attest to the difficulty of writing and editing a paper under time constraints. You did a wonderful job and your deliver was spot on. I look forward to more of your short stories.

  • Wow, your technique for telling a story changed--very good. Like the dramatic special effects.

    Happy New Year!

  • Excellent story, masterfully presented Peter! There's been too many boys who have met an early demise in just such a situation.

  • You are such a cheeky devil. I thought "what the hell is the matter with him? Where is this story going to lead?" and then came the unveiling of the story. Beautiful. Peter, you are a lot of fun. I wish I could meet you some day.

  • good suspense and imagery! I enjoyed this :)
