@pussiepie1470 I know... But it's understandable: I wouldn't want to run the risk of bringing typhus home to my family either. But it's incredible how brave people like Irena Sendler were/are!

Not a good movie. It must be an American production. East European production from the 1960s is much better. People today don't understand the Holocaust any more, what we see is just such quite artificial sentimental acting. Really bad movie. I prefer watching a documentary film or a book on Irene Sendler to watching this movie. Can't watch it any longer, too boring, too artificial.
