I am Indian and I welcome France India relation. France has been the only few countries who has been friend to India since 1947. France understood India's security concerns of China and that's why never criticized India's atom bomb test. They understood that unlike the nations in Europe and Asia Pacific, we are not under US nuclear umbrella and so needed the nuclear arsenal especially after we fought China. Most countries failed to use their brain to make the distinction... France did.

We are in Afghanistan praticlly since the beggining and we are now the 3th Army in number in Afghanistan (we lost our 52 soldiers few time ago...)

Take away France's position on the UN Security Council and give it to India. They refused to to take part in Iraq, they effectivly do nothing in Afghanistan. They're only on the council for historical reasons
