how to kill elvarg, f2p, runescape

this is me killing elvarg on my pure, which now has 40 defence =) just a guide on where the safe spot is and stuffs

@SubRealityDistortion I was going to pick a song i liked, youtube didn't allow it. and then i realized that none of the youtubes allowed list of songs thing didn't have anything good, so i defaulted to this because it's the only song i knew on the list.

@clockwise16912 chaps need no defence, brilliance there hahaha never had a pure before?

and yes, a pure can have magic, you can get 99 mage and still have 1 hp, so if you're pure range and your magic stays below your range level, it doesn't affect your combat level, so why the hell not get it to make life easier?

i dunno... i posted it a while ago... so not sure if this still works... it would be great if someone who's done this recently and gotten it to work would post and say so...

if i keep getting posts saying people cant get it to work anymore i doubt it does, and i'll take it off, but i dont see why it wouldn't work anymore

@Nickg175 Tested jan 26, 2012, no longer works with magic, or bows. (crossbow) There are spots where he can't attack you (which is useful is you have no food and want to home teleport), but they nerfed the safe spot, no longer works. And with her flamethrower of death doing a constant 9 damage (on average) to a lvl 33 def, I doubt there is anyway that he can be beat any way easily than by using a longsword with 40 att XStr and Xdef....

You should have had a Maple Shortbow and some Iron Arrows or something.

1. Get to the safe spot while your wearing the antidragon shield

2. Wield your Maple Shortbow and kill him.

Instead of hitting so many zeros.
