  • you sound quite nervous...

  • Could you do reviews with games, like minecraft, Cod, bf3, etc...

  • "It's definitely not the size of a 15" laptop" lol, good one.

  • call me crazy but im selling my DV6 quad for this bad boy. I have seen that this i5 performs better than the i7-720qm and also the AMD (ATI) 6630M outperforms my geforce 320m. and also, the smaller size laptop is catching my attention and also the backlit keyboard.

IF anyone wants it, send me a message.

but yeah, nice laptop though dude

  • So it's been 4 months since you uploaded this video, how are you getting on w/ the envy 14 now? any changes? good and bad?? please please do a pros and cons video - for a first timer on youtube, i think you did very well :)

  • @TheSlipKnot981 psh... lucky.... my laptop makes me mad. all. the. time. and thats good for you :) (that wasnt sarcastic btw..)

  • @MyNameIsConnorC that's terrible advice. you must have gotten a bad model. mine is very fast at all times, and the battery life gives me about 5 hrs if i'm watching video online with brightness all the way down. also, it never, ever gets hot, ever. the fan can get a bit loud, however.

  • @mcdiddles69 yup. 1.73 ghz i7. i wanted an i5 but noo my dad had to get me more power haha. aw well when they update the macbook pros in march im buying one haha

  • @MyNameIsConnorC sounds like you had an i7. Battery life with an i5 is 5 hours max. They fixed the touchpad on the later models as well as proper lighting for the keyboard. The i5 runs cool unless you're doing some intensive gaming. Your argument is invalid, all i7 laptops run hot and have terrible battery life. That is why they don't offer the i7 by default.

  • I guess some people have some really bad experiences imperfection wise. I got my hp envy 14 back around November 2010 or so. It's still working well and only gets kind of hot when gaming. I have a notebook cooler (zalman) so it's not much of a problem. It does randomly get loud, however that's the case with the mobile sandybridge cpus (throttling issues - see forums for more details). Overall, it's a pretty good notebook. speakers on it are def overrated as beats was pure marketing bs imo.
