  • Gottachuckashit (or the comment below mine) never ever say something like that about memoir again!

  • Such a horrible game.

Burn it, burn it with fire!

  • Brought here by the escapist

  • I'd rather play a game which rewards you for making the good strategic decisions only and have a "little bit" of luck, like one of the Civilization series' games, but this? No thanks.

  • Part 1

Well, I thought this game was going to be pretty cool when I first tried it out, I'm really into strategy games, but it was actually quite bad.

This is basically what this game is: 20% strategy, 80% luck. If the computer keeps giving you bad dice, you're fucked. It's all down to the dice, I'd rather play a board game where I can actually control these dice throws with my own hands rather than letting a biast as hell computer do the rolling (it just seems to hate a player near the end).

$5 for an immensely dumbed down strategy game? And only for 10 hours? Europa Universalis costs less than $5, is an extremely detailed and complex strategy and lasts forever. This is just a ripoff deisgned to eat people's cash.

  • @wrathi TBH I also thought about that. But $5 gives you 125 gold. Each play costs 3 or 2 gold.

So you can play at least 41 games if you paid 3 gold each scenario. Each game takes around 15 minutes of play. That gives me 10,25 hours of fun for $5, and that's not the best cost x benefit option, if you pay more you get more.

Sure it scares people while charging per game, it scared me, but it's damn cheap.

  • 50 Gold ingot signing up bonus. So at least you get some plays for free.

  • I had this as a board game about 5y ago, great to see it as a videogame!

  • I wish it was one time purchase or some kind of visual cash shop. Pay per game is just way too much.
