@devno9904 What if a fatigued truck driver had fallen asleep at the wheel & hit him head on? What if a responsible old lady overshot her driveway by two feet as he was passing by? What if there was an earthquake & he ran into a tree? He was in an open area with a high range of visibility in overcast daylight (ie - no glare to blind anyone) & was being mindful of the surrounding traffic & landscape. If you ask "what if" about everything in life, you may as well be a hermit. Which you might be..

@nsr80rocketboy I hear you on the KLR needing some horsepower. If they fitted that thing with the 649cc Parallel Twin my 650R and this Versys has, I wouldn't have even considered trading it last year for the Ninja.

I liked the video. I have always had big bore sport bikes but picked up a KLR650 a few years ago to have as a bike I could throw a bag on and disappear for a weekend but's too uncomfortable. Could use a few more hp too. I've been eyeballing the Versys since they came out because I think it might be the bike I need. From your video, they are pretty much what I want in a bike so I'll wait until they are available on the used market-money's tight right now.

I have an 08 Versys with Givi hardbags. I love this bike. It's so perfect for commuting, and lite touring. I sometimes ride with my father's Harley crowd, and I always recieve nice comments on the bike. Thanks Kawasaki. Definatly a great experience owning the Versys.
