@xNANNA9 I don't really think a 12 year old needs a $1200+ professional grade laptop. The 15" is even more expensive. I would really step back and examine your priorities instead of trying to chase a fad or one-up your friends with a machine you dont need.

@Monomeester I think I know plenty about them, it was not turned upside down with the hard drive spinning. Anyway drives can work in any orientation.

The battery can be changed without Apple support . Its really pretty easy to do.

two things. Will the Pro tell you if you need a new battery soon? and how much does the New Battery Service cost?

@pacman101102 It won't tell you, but you will notice short battery life. I think it costs around £100-120.

two things. what is RAM? and can you "right-click" for a little menu or something like on windows computers?

@pacman101102 RAM is the memory, and yes you can right click or control click for a contextual menu.
