  • Chi is a great mystery to those who have not found it within themselves. But if you seek it, you will find it. Most people are not aware of their own chi because they have not looked for it. Because they have not found it, they falsely and superstitiously assume that it is a supernatural delusion. But once you find your own chi, you wonder why something so simple and easy to apprehend is so difficult to find. It is only a mystery to those who do not have it. Seek and ye shall find.

  • "Natural abilities" are what all people can do. But once you find your chi, then the doors of the super-natural and mystical open for you. Super natural abilities are really not superstition because superstition is a belief in something that you do not understand. But once you find your chi, you understand very clearly the mystical without falling into the superstitious. If you practice these exercises, you will find your chi. That is the first step, finding what you already have, your own chi.

  • I used to do this exact sequence of bagua years ago and was looking for a video to remind me of the movements, this series of exercises is A+, highly recomend it, thank you for posting. ;)

  • @FabiusPyromanus On your video channel, you have a video of a Danish Ax exercise. The fellow on the right, before the video starts, is standing in the Fehu stance. The runes are not magic, they are pre-literate outlines of power. Yes, of course, the runes are postures. Do a Google search for the Elder Futhark.

  • @banjobilly Okay. But should I stand on a big painting of the rune or is it a posture..? And if, where can i found these postures..? Thanks.

  • @FabiusPyromanus This is not something that a Western physician can help you with. Since you are from Denmark, you should practice some ot the rune standing postures of the Vikings before and after the coiling methods of Ba Qua. Stand in the Isa rune before the power training and then the Algiz rune or Tiwaz rune to end your practice for ten minutes. Your illness feeling probably comes from a release of toxins that the coiling pushes out of your muscle matrix. Eat natural foods; avoid alcohol.

  • @banjobilly There has been some debate about whether or not doings these chi exercises could be 'dangerous' to do. I have been doing these exercises in power methods 1. And for some month I have often been a little ill. The last 2 weeks it's have been even more. I now it could be anything in the world and I will also go see my doctor. I was just wondering if there maybe could be a little explanation here..?

  • @FabiusPyromanus One difference between kundalini snake power of yoga and the coiling qi power of kungfu is a matter of degree. A yogi feels a subtle flow of heat and energy coil up his spine. The kungfu adept feels a blast of power that blows past tense muscle groups often with some pain. So, relax, don't tense. Yogic kundalini is subtle; kungfu kundalini is dynamic. In BaGua, it coils throughout the body. Be careful, serving tea cups can twist your neck as the kundalini coils the cervicals.

  • @banjobilly

Power in bagua comes from relaxation. But the exercises like 'lower coiling palm' and 'the phoenix' are without discussion really tough leg work.

And I am doubtful about how to use my arms. I have done quiet a lot of iyengar yoga where I was told always to be active in all my body. Of course not totally tensed, but active. And there is quite a difference in being relaxed and only using the minimum power necessary and being 'active' where you are putting more energy in the arms.?

  • @FabiusPyromanus I am an expert. If you have any questions, ask.

  • @banjobilly

Hi I'm doing these exercises in personal workout and I really love them!

The give such a great heat in the body and really work my legs. But I have some question about the different exercises. Does anyone know where on the internet I might been able to get some answers..??

And banjobilly.. Who are you to put these videos out and talk like and expert? I think it's great, i'm just curious..

  • @levibluekentucky It doesn't take 30 years to reach a high level if you have the correct form and a good teacher. Not knowing something means that it is a mystery. Once you know something, then it seems simple. Even with a good teacher, one should also explore the teachings of other teachers with the videos and books that are available to the modern student. After all, kungfu is limitless and no teacher knows everything. Even after 30 years, you will find that there is still much to learn.
