Excerpt from a original i wrote last year. This is the last minute of it where I talkbox to my late great friend Roget Troutman. He taught me music from 1963 until 1974. I owe much of my success to his focus on teacing me music. I regret that I didn't get the opportunity to thank him once we became grown men. The last time I shook his hand was in 1986 at a club I was playing at. He came in to tell me personally that he made it! I was on stage when he tugged on the cuff of my pants..I should have stopped the show..Who knows what would have happened if I joined up with him after that? Well this is my way of saying thanks to my best music teacher! I also want to thank God for allowing me to be blessed this way. Roger helped me and at times I helped him..We were beautiful children!
I had to film this one off of a mirror because I don't have quite enough spce for the cam lense. By using a mirror I can work in less space. the only problem is young players can't figure out my style.:( I guess if you had a hand held mirror you could see the real way i play. I apologise for not thinking of you when I filmed this performance.:)
