This is basically a YOGA EXERCISE brought over to Shaolin by the Bodhidharma. Ofcourse, it had been modified to look more Kung-fuish.

This is the Chinese Health Qigong Association standardised version of the Yi Jin Jing and I think they should be credited as should their material for learning this. They also provide material for Ba Duan Jin, Wu Qin Xi and Liu Zi Jue.
Incidentally the Falun Gong are an anti Government propaganda group who have bastardised Buddhist principles and used them for bad practice. They do not promote health and well being they promote anti-government activity.

This is what I learned in China, the traditional way. There may be some other variations, but this is the main stream set.

I am not sure why you have labeled this I chin jing. I love most of your stuff but you make I Jin Ching confusing with this demo. All chi gung that is not called *hard* is I Chin Jing. Tai Chi, is Yi Jin Ching, Ba Gua, is Yi Jin Ching, Yi Jin Ching describes turning hard to soft, over stretched to relaxed, rigid to flexible. It is not any particular series of movements, rather it is an effect of doing internal stuff for longer than 5 minutes a day, more like 5 hours a day.

SFJane,Yi Jin Ching (Tendon Transforming Classic) is a 1500-year-old Qigong practice that originated in the Shaolin Temple. It was regarded as a secret of great value in ancient times. The whole set of postures provides fitness and wellness conditioning for the body. It is intended to build flexibility and strength in tendons and muscles through progressive stretching and releasing cycles, while stimulating inner energy flow for healing and disease prevention.
