For international students wanting to make friends with British people in Cambridge, England. Many language students fail to meet local people while they study English in Cambridge. Through the work of Kairos Trust, there are lots of opportunities to make friends with British people.

Sorry, the sound quality is not great.

This is not actually truue,, many British People - like me ,enjoy meeting new people....,, i think people from other nationalities and backgrounds are really interesting ... Dont be afraid 2 meet them,, its likely that the ppl who arnt nice enough to greet yu are the ones that might stay away

  • it costs the same as any other university in the UK.

  • its no one's fault. the foreigners are afraid to mingle in with the nationals. but if you make the first move, you will not regret it. i have loads of foreign friends, and they all are nice.

  • can you offer any information about the price of getting into uni. im a uk resident but i heard cambs is expensive. lol

  • I think most people how get in to the university are very rich. The University is sooo expensive. I wonder if you can get in with grades that aren't A's or B's. And only because you can pay the education, still will get in.

It seems like an environment that is all about small groups of people how aren't open for new contacts.

  • im at york uk.very good university, top ten in the country.i couldn't quite cut cambridge, although i did go to school in oxford. biggest rivals :P

  • Oh that's sad - I thought we were friendly - too reserved perhaps. I live abroad, but this is my home city

  • I will be studying at Cambridge this October (Masters) and to be sincere I'm kind of scared. I do not know what to expect and the weather depresses me a lot. Anyways, is a great school so I'm happy i got accepted. I'll let you guys know more when I get there :)

    Wish me luck....

    Ciao
