Hauppauge HD PVR setup tutorial (ps3): PART 1

I made this tutorial to help those who are setting up their hauppauge HD PVR. Especially those who are setting it up for the 1st time. It's quite an easy job if you organise yourself well and take your time. HDTV: LG 42LD450
Computer: Packard Bell - EASYNOTE TM97-GN-005UK
Console: PS3 Slim (120GB)

so are there any other components (other than what you get with the hauppauge) that i need to get to wire this thing up?

Where did you get the muti PS3/Xobx cable from?

do you know how to get arcsoft extreme media and divers to a laptop with NO dvd drive

@Havoc461 I don't think you can... you're better off just buying an external optical drive for your netbook laptop.
