I saw this in Bayreuth in 1990 (or 92, I can't remember);
but who could forget the tide going out and the moon rising. I'm sure it was the same singers.
This video wasn't available yesterday, it said it was withdrawn by the user. Anyway it's back again and I'm so pleased. Schnaut's performance is fantastic.

Schnaut is great, live she is.... wow :-), Saw her also as a young singer in DARMSTADT as OCTAVIAN. Wonderful.

Wow! On CD, the voice alone wouldn't have done it for me but what SUPERB acting from Schnaut!! And the oath....what a malicious siren!!
