  • I was there and am in the video clip, how amazing is that

  • Hey, hippies are cool. The dancing was a cross between Native dance and fighting off the alien that got into your LSD drugged mind but still way better than disco.

  • I was there for the three days, I lived in Woburn Sands then, it was the best thing to happen in our area for years, -locals hated it, all these long-haired hippies invading their rural idyll, all this weird music, I fucking loved it, Jimi Hendrix on Sunday evening, wouldn't have missed it, glad I didn't.

  • Have you considered adding a music track to this? Esp. if know what band/music was playing at the time.

  • @spanishlynn tell us more please :)

  • Not only remember getting kicked out I remember walking back to Bicester!

  • Does anyone else remember getting kicked off site on the Sunday and sleeping in Woburn Sands, in the road and in the rain. Not to mention Kempton Park the same year with Arthur Brown, the procession of Camels etc in front of the stage and Mr Brown setting light to the stage. No I thought not its just me then

  • The band towards the end of this clip was called "The Dream". There's a future member of "The Sweet" in the line-up.

  • This is more likely ACID children!

  • exceptional footage, woburn '67 was quasi the first open air rock fest in uk, and one of the first altogether.

    thanks

  • That's a glimpse of Cream ? I think i read the drum....

What a treasure a full length film would be!

  • ...'cept for the extreme racism, social division, and potential to get drafted to a war that had already killed 10,000+ of your fellow countrymen-- right? ;)
