sure the texting is slow... at first, but then after a year off texting you get really fast, then when you swich to a phone with a keypad like i did your much slower...at first well idk cause i just got mine today cause my 2 year contract on my sway was done :) but its still in great shape and works great!

How do you add words to the T9 dictionary for this phone? I've tried spelling the word out in ABC mode and then switching back to T9, but it doesn't work. This method used to work on my previous phone (2nd generation LG Chocolate), so I was wondering if anyone knows how to do it for the Samsung Sway?

I GOT MINE TODAY!! BUT THE STUPID SHIT HAS ME READY TO THROW IT AT A WALL ALREADY ugh ITS MY 3RD PHONE THIS YEAR due to anger issues but it wont let me make the wallpaper fit to screen its just centered!! HELP PLZ

Hmm...well I don't use my phone much for texting but I do on the occasion. I'd have to say it's not the greatest phone for texting (but is useable) for a couple of reasons. The buttons are very flat, they don't have much to define space between them, so you may have to look at the phone while you text to make sure you hit the right buttons (takes some getting used to). Second, from my experience, it's a little slow sending/receiving messages but this could be due to the low signal in my area.

I actually like this phone, but I don't use my phone too too much. I use it to receive twitter notifications mostly, and to text a couple friends or talk to my family. Functionality is kinda like most other low to mid end verizon phones, but I really like the size of this one. It's very pocketable. On a scale of 1-5, I'd give it a 4.
