Jim Cantelon sits down for a one on one interview with Robert Schuller Jr. and discusses the why he left the Crystal Cathedral and his recent projects that he is working on. Robert A. Schuller Chairman-Comstar Media http://www.comstarmedia.com
In hindsight it looks like he was trying to save face. Crystal Cathedral ministries was falling apart at this stage, and would eventually lead to bankrupcy and sale of the church.
Your are very much missed on The Hour Of Power.Even though it is not possible your return would see a revival of the Crystal Cathedral to what it used to be.
Pastor Robert A. Schuller. I you ever see this...I want you to know....I was greatly inspired by your sermons and watched faithfully. I am sorry that you and you father have had this rift. Too bad the building will now be sold. I loved the story you told about your LOST wedding ring in the ocean, which was found many, many years later.
Classy guy! To process such a difficult experience in the public eye with such grace is inspiring to me. I appreciate his comments about others "knowing what God wants for us" (A lesson I learned in my years as a young Christian, after having been on both ends of that experience). I also admire him being able to see that it was God saying there was something new for him on the horizon. Thank you.
For whatever reason, I was never able to fully trust Robert Sr. The opposite is true of Jr.

A church of God can´t be sold, because it belongs to God, the building however can be put for sale!!!!
