@rgme2 ...you mean she was trained for 'Classical' opera? Deep female voice for pop doesn't seem like it fits.

The show was broadcast live on October 4, 1963 - (6:15pm-7:00pm) from studio 9, Associated-Redifusion studio, Television House in Kingsway, London. The show, Ready, Steady, Go! was relatively new. The Beatles also appear lip-syncing "Twist and Shout", "I'll Get You", and "She Loves You."

Oh My God!!!! Helen on her very best performing on the Ready Steady Go program her "newest" hit together with John, Ringo and George......What a unique sound she had and probably still has...Normally it's the "men & groups" who started with The British Invasion", but in my opinion Helen & other girl groups took also part in the "Invasion"...Luckely for all of us, thanks to the person who posted this, and You Tube as well, we all can enjoy the "old but forgotten-ones"
