..cat de frumoasa a fost copilaria noastra!!! Sunt din Basarabiia si am privit de nenumarate ori acest film si in rusa si in romana! Este o opera de arta!! Regret mult ceea ce se arata acuma: pokemoni si prostii, la copii! Acest film inseamna educatie corecta!

I'm from ex-URSS and I was very young when I saw this movie and I adored it. It was made by Romanian and Moldavian (an USSR' republique) film studies and I'm greatefull to both of them for this great film. Cheers to Romania, thank you!!!

Yes, the movie was jointly produced by Romanian and Soviet movie studios. Directed by Ion Popescu-Gopo, well known Romanian artist. Music by Moldovan composer Eugen/Evgheni Doga. Main characters: Gilda Manolescu (Maria), Medeea Marinescu (Mirabela), Ingrid Celia (Zâna Pădurii), Ion Popescu-Gopo (Moş Timp). An animation film to pass down to your children. Let us never forget the wonderful childhood! :)

The movie was a co-production between Romania and the former USSR. The director was a romanian, but the effects and the soundtrack were made by sovietics. Anyway the composer is Eugen Doga a romanian from the Moldavian Republic. Actually he is established in Moscow
