  • It would not be an exaggeration to say that Tom Laughlin single-handedly changed this film industry. He was the first indy film maker and pioneered the concept of "four-walling" to sell your film which is now used by other indy film makers like Mel Gibson, and he is responsible for many other innovations. He was ahead of his time in so many ways. It's a damn shame that the industry he virtually created has now shunned him. He deserves much better than that.

  • Tom has a point. Too much trash does get put out by Hollywood. Audiences get tired of the chick flicks and endless movies designed to appeal to the teen market. People want quality flicks with actual stories and acting--not this stuff being passed off to kids and teens. REAL MOVIES sell. They can make movies that appeal to all without resorting to releasing trash loaded with gratuitous garbage thrown in...Holllywood needs to be upgraded--period.
