How do you begin to comment on Dorothy Parker? I take it I can leave the rhetorical question in your capable hands. The statement on the other hand I'll take with me, that is if you don't mind... Quote:-> "Excuse my dust."
First time I've heard Ms. Parker's voice, too, so thanks. Video's nice, but if you do another, a little *less* production value and less bright lighting might better compliment the dark tenor of the poetry. But fine work just the same.
Comment related by Garson Kanin from a story-conference in Sam Goldwyn's office, late '30's: Mrs. Parker said, "Mr. Goldwyn, this may come as a great shock, but in the entire history of the world, which has held millions of people, there has never been such a thing as a happy ending!" After she had left the room, Goldwyn-turned to his associates. "Does anyone here know what that woman was talking about?" R.J.
Thisi the 1st time I've heard Miss Parker's ACTUAL voice. Nothing at all like the way J.J. Leigh did it. Basically, she used the same voice from "Hudsucker".
The gloomy pictures made it somewhat creepy. I'm memorizing this for American literature

Great poem. It sounds just like my life, too.
