Mr VictorLepanto, we love you, because we are sure that you are a sincere seeker. Read St. Pope Gregory the Great and see who says him that are Peter's succesors. And, when the pope became heretic, he lost his apostolic succesion. May peace and Love in Truth be with you! MM

If the popes can become heretics, how do you know that Gregory was not also a heretic? & while you ponder that conundrum, ponder this: When does Jesus give the keys of His kingdom to any other Apostle? How many Eastern bishops endorsed the Arian heresy, how many participated in the Council of Nicea? How many endorsed Monophysitism? Iconoclasm?
Jesus didn't say, " I will lead you into truths & then I'll lead you into some errors." He said, "All truth." Is He a liar?

Unfortunately, the protestantism and liberalism is the result (a reaction to) of the Roman-Catholic scholasticism and juridism. If they are sincere, they will understand again what really means Roman-Catholicism and they will run away. I know many western Christians who were protestants and became Roman-Catholics, but finally, they converted to Orthodoxy. VIVA IL CHRIST!

The Orthodox have valid bishops and priests and celebrate valid sacraments. They only lack union with Rome to make them fully Catholic. They are a Church of martyrs to the Muslims and later the Bolsheviks. God will always bless the faithful Orthodox for the stedfastness of their Faith. I, as a Roman Catholic, am in awe of their witness.

We, the Orthodox, are full catholics, but not because being catholic means being united with Rome. Unfortunately, being united with Rome, after the fall of the Rome into heresy, became a lack of catholicity. The real name of the so called Orthodox Church is the Orthodox Catholic Church. I was growing up in the Roman-Catholic community, but I understood that there is wrong. Yes, some simple people from there are nice people, bu this is not enough.

The heretical way of understanding the God and the Church shaped in a wrong way theirs life and stop them to came into the real knowledge of the Holy Ghost in theirs souls and bodies. I wished not to answer to this dialogs (and just to prey for you), but the He, who is Love ask me to talk. May God give you the real peace that is coming from the real knowledge and from his Holy Ghost! With love in Christ, the One that unifies, MM

The one who needs to read his Bible is you. Of course the primacy was originally in in Jerusalem as St. Peter was originally in Jerusalem. Of course St. Peter was rebuked for doing wrong. That is why popes go to confession even to this day. Jesus is an Apostle? Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Jesus didn't send himself out to be his witnesses. No one else is ever given the keys. & the saints are indeed alive! Have you no faith in the resurrection.

@VictorLepanto What kind of Bible reader are you? JESUS is the Apostle and High Priest of our confession according to Hebrews 3:1. He was sent by GOD the FATHER! You just proved that Roman Catholics are notorious for studying Canon Laws and the words of their Priests more than they study the Bible. ABSOLUTELY SAD!!!!

The Apostles were sent out by Christ. It is absurd to say that Jesus sent himself out. Jesus chose 12 Apostles. He is not the 13th Apostle. It does you no good to read your Bible if you are incapable of understanding basic words.
