@blademanx Dude it is MB they are built for travelling at 250kmh. In fact if you only do the top speed for a few seconds it might be even worse for the engine if you go much slower after that cuz it doesnt give some engine parts time to adjust to the less stress. E.g. running a turbo car at lets say 220 for 1 min and then slowing to 130 is deadly for the engine as different materials cool down at different rates. Anyway you dont go 250 with warnings and as for what caused it RTFM. :)

when ive gone top speed ive only done it for a few seconds then let the engine rest...thats why a lot of people are broken down on the side because they they just thrashin the engine and not letting it rest....besides you had warnings and decided to go past the 155mph

That sounds like a blown engine to me. But if you removed the limiter by chipping, then there's no fail-safe mechanism to protect that poor engine.
