Item: Choice Specs
Nature: Quiet (+ Sp.atk - Speed)

Ability: White Smoke: This ability blocks any reduction of the Pokémon's stats by the enemy,the most common being Intimidate and special attacks that lower sp.def.

Moves:
-Overheat
-Earthquake
-Hidden Power Ice
-Explosion

Evs:252 Sp.atk/252 Atk/6 Def
Final stats with such EVs:(if u had the IVs needed for HP Ice 70)

HP 281 so so
Atk 269 Good enough for nice explosions and earthquakes that kill things like heatran/Infernape etc.
Def 317 This is one of the nice things of Torkoal.It can take physical hits and then counter with one of the 4 attacks.
Sp.atk 295 its great,with Choice Specs it reaches 442 sp.atk,giving u a mighty weapon in overheat and a HP Ice that will always kill mence.
Speed 67 My third pokemon of the week is slow again lol,this one breaking the record.Oh well I will give u faster pokes from now on.It works on trick room though
Sp.def 176 Not that good,dont even try to survive a stabed surf.

Resistances: /2 fire,/2 grass,/2 Ice,/2 bug,/2 steel.Immune to will-o-wisp

Weakness: X2 water,X2 Ground,X2 rock(X2 stealth Rock)

Thats a bad part,being weak to Stealth rock and being slow prevents u from much standard use.So Torkoal can only really shine in NU,but try it in OU as a lead and/or with a spinner and its nice too!

Description: Pretty simple,annhilate things with overheat,use earthquake if u predict a switch to heatran or something,or just in case u need to kill with a super efective quake.Explode if u just want to take down a poke,and Rape mence or things with weak sp.def that u hit super efective with hp Ice.

The bad part about torkoal is the SR weakness and being slow,but if u lead with it its not that bad,and a mixed attacker is something awesome always.Try it in OU if u dare,but in NU it should shine.

@shedinjasweeper It's a mixed attacker.It's main weapon is the surprise factor,I won't lie to you.

But if you like replace Specs with Life orb to help both stats and be able to switch attacks,sadly without specs you are missing some easy KOs with overheat/hp ice.
