Skinner's Butte is NOT a short walk from Deady Hall. It's a LONG ass walk............

@thestein00 I walked that distance when I shot, "Eegah Titles". You gotta think in terms of 1921 era. Walking 10-12 blocks would have been a stroll for them. Plus the two bridges weren't built yet so it would have been a more straight shot. Ergo "Farry St. Bridge." the location of the farry across the river.

Is this still hapenning now in 2010?

@franco121760 Yes and no. No the sense that there is no Kiddy Kollege Klub or Oregon Knights on campus. and if a bunch of frat boys dressed in mistrial black and white make-up there would be hell to pay. (actually recently a FL frat got in big trouble for that a few years back)
Mostly the KKK in Oregon is very undercover, in small towns of about 900 or so, without any sort of attention bought to themselves. Most crepie was that the whole shelf on the subject was AWOL from the library.

Bureyeanne - at the end of this part and the beginning of part 4 you suggest that friendly was a member of the ku klux klan. You spend most of part 3 discussing the segregation that happened in friendly hall and the influence that the KKK had in oregon government and university members but I dont see any evidence that connects Samuel Friendly himself with the kkk (only that a building named after him was segregated). Is there evidence he was a white supremest? Thanks!

@giveholy Um. It was the summer of 2006 I made this video. I can't remember where my notes are hidden on this project. I can point that much of my research came from Eckard Toy's doctrial thesis stored in the special collection by Knight Libary.
