Sharpe used to win all the time on the Maple Leaf production shows (which used to air exclusivly in Canada). Sharpe and Hulk Hohan also were briefly a successful tag team in Japan.

I fucking love jobbers. Sharpe and the Brawler are awesome.

JYD was a transcendent figure in the world of professional wrestling...Just seeing him enter the ring made my Saturday afternoons more special as a kid!!

I agree with you there are a bunch of wrestlers that get left out in the cold.Iron Mike really was a great guy and he was VERY popular with the fans.He never complained about putting someone else over instead of himself. He actually made a decent living being a preliminary wrestler for all those years.C'mon all those matches he lost on Superstars and Wrestling Challenge week after week year after year.He was a selfless person and very serviceable worker like SD Jones!

Iron Mike really should've been a bigger star. I'd love a dvd of his matches against the jobbers. He deserved better. I mean, this was around the time Vince went super-cartoony and WAY overboard with the gimmicks and left good wrestlers in the dirt. This was only about a few yrs removed from the asinine 'doink the clown', 'brother love' and 'gobbletygooker' era of the WWF/E
