wow if waves were like that at hb. there would be a person on every wave. i guess when a good storm comes around on the east coast you have to be picky. BARNEYSSSS!!!!!

You're absolutely right -- this raw footage was uploaded as is, with no pretense at editing. I only jumped out of my car for as much time as it took to shoot this to test out my new camera's capabilities.

i live on the cape i havnt seen waves like this 4 years u should hav edited the surfing sucs

storm surge is not like a wave and cannot be ridden. storm surge is actually a "bulge" of water associated with the extrememely low pressure of a hurricane or extra-tropical cyclonic system. the bulge of water causes the tides to run very high, and often flooding low lying areas. it also allows wave action and sediment transport to occur much further inland in areas of low lying topography. just so yah know. good video, no punk rock!!!!

Thanks for the clarification. The first video I took this day was just down the shore at Coast Guard Beach. Normally, the water this time of years is darker blue -- but it was so obvious there -- and here, too -- how much junk had been kicked up in the water. Very green.
