1I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he appears to set up his Kingdom: 2Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

3For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

5But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.

Very good points in this video. Being a Christian is more than just one aspect of scripture. Sometimes we dwell on one thing too much, and its good to sit back and remember why Jesus came, and what He told us to do before He ascended. Teach and make disciples!!!

Thanks so much for this video. I've been told by people--who I'm sure mean very well--that if I don't believe in the Pre-Trib rapture and I'm not watching Rapture YouTube videos that I'm going to miss the rapture and I may not be a real Christian. The foolish bridesmaid analogy has been used on me too.

What if "watching" means living your life in expectation of Christ's return, seeking after righteousness, loving God and others?

Based on current events, I think we could be close.

@johnforkner That is a wonderful way of puting "watching." We should always be ready. The Lord says we should be watching and praying. The last sentence you wrote is what I think watching means-to watch current event to know when it is upon us because of the fact that ALL christians will go through the tribulation the Lord is warning us to know when to flee (Matthew 24) If we don't we will not make it through the tribulation, but rather die in Christ. Matt 16:1-4- we should be able to tell.
