It is a Ratliff R5 born April of 2010. I will look into the rest! I used to use one. I have been thinking of how to improve my tone(getting more on plane!)

Nice smooth picking. I wonder if you would not benefit from an arm rest to get your right wrist in same plane as the strings? I found it helped me a lot. What kind of mandolin is that -- very strong treble end.
