Performs much better, of course it drains the battery a bit more, but if i am on the move then i'll put it back to energy saving so i can use it to say watch a film .... yeah you an overclock the "GPU" (if you can call it that xD) program called GMA Booster, OC gpu engine upto 400MHz ....

@fletchy88 how does the 2ghz perform compared to stock, and also does it drain the battery. also is it possible to overclock the gpu aswell?

yeah but the difference between DVI from pc and VGA from eee is huge!!! Maybe not viewable while playing HD movie.....I have 22" Samsung monitor now and I know what I'm talking 'bout....

lmao....not a good idea??, i have my eee pc 901 overclocked to 2Ghz with eectl and connected to 24" Samsung (the frickin sexy lookin monitors) at a 1900 x 1200 resolution no probs whatsoever!!!!!!!

eeectl works with 901 too? I thought it would only work with 701/900 laptops, but nice to know. I think games would run nicer with higher clocks than 1680Mhz (super performance mode @ super hybrid engine).

It wasn't higher, it was 1024x600 ;-)
I don't think that setting more than 1024x600 is a good idea...
p.s.:my english is bad too :D but I don't care...

Zdarec, nie neskusal lebo nemam taky k dispozicii a ani ziaden s mojich kamosov nema vacsi ako je moja 19tka...Eeecko by podla mna 24" v pohode zvladlo ale nemyslim si ze by to bol az taky kvalitny ostry obraz, totizto uz na mojej 19tke vidiet pekny rozdiel medzi dvi z desktopu a vga z eeecka...ale pri pozorovani 720p filmu som nic nevsimol :)
