First impressions , i feel like so far the adaptever is a pretty solid device. I have had no problems with the button mis firing , loose springs , or loose adapters. Overall it feels very nice and solid in the hand. It has a mechanical switch to prevents shorts or faliures and it hits hard , every time.

i will cover this in the follow up , but i dropped it from about 3 feet ( by accident ) on to my solid glass coffee table and put a small gouge in it. But the adaptever kept on vaping.

obviously i will report back after i have spent some more time with it , but i will say it is becoming my "go to" device time and time again.

i did dent mine , but it was because i dropped it from about 4 feet on to my glass coffee table. I scratched the shit out of my protege' from dropping it onto concrete. I believe the adaptever is made of aluminum. It's been really durable so far.

I'm with you on the CR2s... Been using the 3.6v CR2s with these new HV iatties lately and blown away... With the AFS they totally rock.
