Jan (now 7 years old) is showing some yoyo tricks with the YoYoFactory 888x (2010 edition) which is a birthday gift. He started yoing about 4 months ago, now he might even play with an olive and a spagetthi, if we wouldn't watch him ;-) This video was taken in Wilparting. About the string: Jan is only 116cm (3'10"), so a string of appropriate length is really short, too short for most string tricks.

that pretty cool.. i've never seen the unwinding of a string where it actually comes off of the yoyo.. then again i've only been yoyo-ing for a few weeks

Maybe I try to cut all his strings just an inch per week, so he cannot just throw the "too short" string away and use a new one... this way he will not notice it (finally he is male) ... yeah... that's what I will do :)
