Zac: **laughs**

Selena: so wha'ts up?

Miley: so i heard you had a boyfriend.

Selena: **smiles** taylor. you met him the other day.

Miley: congratulations.

Selena: thanks. so what did you wanna talk to me about?

Miley: it's about ni-

Nick: miley! **quickly runs to where selena and miley are** there you are. i've been looking all over for you.

Selena: hey nick.

Nick: hey sel. **looks at miley and gives her a look that says: you better not have talked to her**

Selena: **turns to miley** so what were you gonna say?

Miley: ni-

Nick: nothing! she was just wondering...uh...if you wanted to come over to my house and have a movie night. yea, that!

Selena: um...sure.

Miley: by yourself though.

Selena: **confused**

Nick: uh...what she means to say is you can bring taylor. nessa is invited too. i'm pretty sure kevin and joe are gonna invite ash and dems tonight.

Selena: ok, well i'll see you guys later. i need to go find nessa. bye guys. **leaves**

Nick: that was close.

Miley: why didn't you let me talk to her?

Nick: because she has a boyfriend!

Miley: well it's not like i'm gonna tell her to break up with him to be with you.

Nick: **looks at miley**

Miley: ok...maybe i did have that in mind. but-

Nick: no buts. i don't want to ruin our friendship.

Miley: fine...

Nick: promise me you won't talk to her.

Miley: i promise...

Nick: thank you.

Miley: but just to remind you, best friends do what they think is best for one another.

Nick: i know, i'm glad you're my best friend. **hugs her**

Miley: **says quietly to herself** and at certain times, it means breaking promises.

Nick: **pulls away** what was that?

Miley: **smiles** nothing.

**with selena**

Selena: **walks to where zac and vanessa are** nessa, i've been looking for you. **sees zac** and who's this? **nudges vanessa**

Vanessa: this is zac. zac, this is my sister, selena.

Selena: **smiles** nice to meet you.

Zac: same.

Selena: **whispers to zac** you want her number?

Vanessa: i'm standing right here!

Zac: **laughs**

Vanessa: well we better get going. nice meeting you. **drags selena and walks away**

Vanessa: what was that?

Selena: what was what?

Vanessa: don't play dumb with me selena marie gomez.

Selena: will people quit using my full name? gosh.

Taylor: **walks up to them** here you guys go. **hands them their drink**

Selena: thanks.

Taylor: no problem. what now?

Vanessa: can we please go forever 21 now? i have to get that top i saw the other day.

Selena: why didn't you get it then?

Vanessa: cause i didn't have enough money...

Selena: **laughs** and what makes you have enough now?

Vanessa: reasons. **quickly walks away**

Selena: **thinks for a little** vanessa anne hudgens, tell me you didn't take the money on top of my drawer.

Vanessa: **turns around** ok, i didn't. **smiles innocently**

Selena: nessa! you are so dead!

Taylor: aren't you guys sisters?

Selena: unfortunately.

Taylor: why do you guys have different last names?

Selena: nessa wanted to use our mom's maiden name. i used my dad's last name.

Taylor: oh...

Selena: now if you'll excuse me, i have some unfinished business. **stomps towards vanessa**

Taylor: **laughs**
