Meghann Heft: Changing the World

A senior majoring in communication with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing, Meghann Heft is originally from Versailles, Ohio. She was selected as one of 37 interns from around the world for a summer internship at The Carter Center in Atlanta, Ga.

Since coming to the University of Dayton, she has served the campus community in various capacities, including marketing and publications executive for New Student Orientation and as a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She is currently co-copy editor of Flyer News and president of UD's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, as well as communication assistant in UD's office of enrollment management and public relations intern at Sinclair Community College.

After graduating in May 2010, Meghann plans to enjoy a career in public relations and marketing in central or southwestern Ohio.
