The Duluth police department is worthless. When the real flood was going on they were nowhere to be seen. They were not directing any traffic until days afterwards. Worthless! What a disgrace. Compare them to Bemidji police and the Duluth police are slugs....overpaid, lazy and pushy. They remind of the cops in the movie It's a Wonderful Life in Potterville....the worst and I believe they are also corrupt.

We used to do that in Grand Rapids MI. but last year they put cops on the flooded areas and wanted to take us to jail. They said our wakes were going to brake windows in peoples house and we were going to get charged for all the damage to all the houses. He had it out for us, he did get me 7 months later with a " disregard for human life misdemeanor" for spraying my budy that was laying in the water.

Wednesday morning of the flood, my girlfriend and her two daughters tried getting out of Duluth and there were no roadblocks, no police, no fireman anywhere....and she tried to get out on highway 2, I-35, and 53 by the mall, she finally was able to get around the neighborhoods around the mall and had to drive to Hibbing and then west and she said, she NEVER once saw a policeman and there were no signs, warnings or anything

Im not sure what part of Duluth you are in but one of my family members is a State Trooper, and he got woken up right away as soon as it started flooding in the middle of the night ( 2am/3am ) to go help out.
