I tried, after I managed to mix the steamed rice with the mashed mung beans in this recipe, I can hardly see any rice at all, just a big pot of mashed mung, so, I steamed an other batch of 1.5 cup sticky rice and add it to the original batch, which help balance the ratio of rice and bean, and it turn out very good. Therefore, my suggestion is that, I would reduce the amount of mung bean to 1.5 or 2 cup and use just a couple tablespoon of coconut cream that float on top of the coconut can.

I changed a little bit in your recipe. I steeped the sticky rice in the coconut milk and leave it in the fridge (to prevent the souring of coconut milk). It doesnt have much of the smell of coconut milk once it cooked but somehow i believe it makes the sticky rice softer ?! But next time i will try to put the powdered coconut milk into the rice while it cooked. I wonder if it will enhance the flavor of xoi vo. Single guys are more audacious : =)
