@raspi093 quater =53 is much too slow for an adante.

"In paradisum" is a piece to accompany the movement of the casket to the place of burial, so are they RUNNING with the casket?

The intonation and phrasing are nice, but the tempo is quick compared to the versions that I've sung and heard. The piece needs to be flowing and moderate.

look even if it were a highway one should respect the composer's tempo indication. there is written 'andante moderato' . the editors since +/- 1903 indicate a quarter = 58, influenced by fauré's own pupils. even if one omits that consign, this version ,which I definitely do not consider as bad, is not andante moderato and considering the spirit of the whole opus too fast.
