  • why take time and space taking a JPG as well there is NO NEED for it....

    And you can do it from one RAW file you can make more then one out put tiff from the file.

    also the older CS2 will not open new RAW files as the ACR is not for that version

  • @devonmale69 since this was meant to be a beginner's tutorial, I thought that having the JPG would help people locate specific raw files within windows explorer. Also, in the video I said that with some cameras, you might be able to install an add-on that will allow older CS versions to read certain raw files. Thanks for the comment.

  • hey, quick question. Can you just have one photo and make 9 or so photos in different exposures using photoshop, then make the hdr image?

  • that will not work. A raw image from an slr camera holds a lot more information than just an image you create in photoshop. that information is what gives the HDR it's quality. i have never personally tried it before, but theoretically, the quality would be nowhere near the quality of a true HDR image.

  • @munkianis but you can see RAW files in windows explorer and also if you have Photoshop then you would be using bridge

  • @munkianis and @dreamisover4081 <--- I did tried adjusting one shot to 6 different exposures using canon and photoshop softwares.... photoshop gave me a message stating "not sufficient to create a HDR images" but I used photomatrix for a shone hdr...
