  • are you sponsored by any chance?

  • Hello Starflash, Not sure what you mean by sponsored. My guess is you mean by the manufacture or such? Nope, I'm a dealer, but don't receive anything from the manufactures. I'm one of the top 5 US Minelab dealers and have been searching for gold for over 20 years now. I spend most of my time searching for gold nuggets throughout the Southwest. Give us a call if you have questions - Rob's Detector Sales - 623-362-1459

  • Hey Ridenow, All metal detectors will find gold, but the Minelab's are much more immune to mineralization (ground noise and hotrocks) and get 2-3 times the depth. I'm talking about the Minelab PI's, not the Minelab VLF's.

    What State are you located?

  • Right on! Good on ya. The Minelabs are getting me interested. I have a Whites MTX with a Small DD coil. I've found birdshot deep in washes but no gold yet. Should I step up or just step more?

  • good find there
