It is so obvious that GOSL has been involved in acts of genocide and that it is systemic in the island. Ban of UN described the human tragedy suffered by the Tamils as the worst witnessed in any conflict anywhere in this world. HRC showed due process in Iraq and Kosovo. GOSL/LTTE War Crime allegations have to be investigated. Given the evidence, HRC has no option but to accede to an INDEPENDENT investigation. After 61 yrs of unrest it's clear - we need a two-state solution for peace-Kosovo.

The Tamil Tigers in fact gave a proposal for power sharing. But for the 50 years Sri lankan state could not even draft a proposal for peace. All the previous peace agreements and proposals negotiated with Tamil tigers were scrapped by majority sinhala government. Unless you provide scope for some political settlement, this is not going to end. Please remember, Tamils were fighting for their rights non-violently from 1928 and till late 70s.Tamil Eelam must be the best solution for both parties.
