Why does everyone think X-Men: The Last Stand sucked. It was fine, at least it wasn't Punisher: War Zone

Just so you know, Singer had every intention to do X3, but wanted to do Superman first. FOX, pissed off at this, tore up their contract with Singer and booted him out the door. Originally Matthew Vaughn, was going to be the replacement, but left due to creative differences, which is a shame, cause his X3 would've rocked too. Then FOX got Brett Ratner, and it's all history from there. So Singer didn't choose Ratner, FOX did.

The second Batman (Burton) is terrible. I don't why he had to change direction. I watched the first two X-Men, liked them, and am now refusing to watch the third.

What Singer should do is make ANOTHER X-Men 3 to replace this one. So we can pretend The Last Stand never happened. I agree that it should be about sentinels because it would make sense. Eventually, I'd like to see a movie based around Apocalypse!

I just did - you seem to speak sense and have some good points there. However, when I watched the films back in 2007, all 3 worked just as good for me and I never noticed any of the things you mentioned. But after watching your video I think I'll watch them all again and pay closer attention to the things you didn't like in X3. And then I might even agree with you. :)

Owned. 5 Stars and a Subscription. Finally someone with big enough balls to agree, X-3 was a Hollywood-weapon of mass destruction.

I was hoping they did a 4th X-men that went back to where in X-2 Jean says, "The dreams are gettign worse." and they lead into how X-3 was just a bad, horrible, dream that Jean had while she was submerged under water at Alkaline Lake.
..sorry, but the movie that actually kicked off this current spate of Marvel Comics themed movies was BLADE in '98.

@dageekundaground Blade was nowhere NEAR as big a hit as Spider-Man and X-Men. There were plenty of comic book movies prior to those, but they were chiefly responsible for the current popularity of comic book movies. Blade was great, but it wasn't even close to the same league as far as success and overall impact.

I really don't understand all the X3 bashing - for me all three films were equally good. But then again, I've never been much of a fan of American comic books, so I don't really care if films are true to them or not. I just want a film to be good on its own and X3 - for me - was.

Watch the second part, which goes in-depth as to everything I felt was wrong with the movie.
