The Greyhound Protection Act - New Hampshire HB 630

At racetracks in New Hampshire, greyhounds endure lives of terrible confinement and suffer serious injuries. This cruelty goes against the values of our community and that is why 65% of New Hampshire citizens support ending dog racing for gambling purposes.

Thankfully, this cruelty may soon end when lawmakers vote on House Bill 630, the Greyhound Protection Act. This humane proposal will phase out greyhound racing in New Hampshire by 2010.

Please help pass this important law. The greyhounds can't speak for themselves, and are counting on you to speak for them now.

I am a part of the MA committee since last year. I am very proud to be a part of that, and in making history in MA. I am so glad to hear other states are taking the initiative to end this cruel "sport". If I lived in NH I would be out there petitioning too! You go you guys in NH! Do it for the dogs!!

We just adopted a Greyhound from Seabrook, NH. Everything in this video is true. Even at the rescue building the dogs had only paper as bedding and were in tiny cages. The paper work we got with our dog stated that the dogs were constantly wormed because they fed raw meat- called 4-D (diseased,deadly, dying). Our dog, Isis, was certainly unsocialized. She knew nothing about being loved or being in a home. Thankfully she is healing from her track life and is a wonderful addition to the family.
