An experiment showing how wild type cells on the left migrate under agarose more rapidly than myosin-2 mutant cells on the right. This time lapse video compresses 30 minutes to 8 seconds. Folic acid is a chemoattractant for these slime mold cells.

  • Nice Dicty movie! What is the concentration of folate that you use? My cells responce well to cAMP but not to FA :(
