Told you I had a suprise! Deepony is back!
Clips are taken from 31st December (My 18th!) and her first time being ridden in months. She was such a good girly.
I had originally planned for Dee to come back in work at the end of January, but due to her needing another assessment for her hocks she needed to be back in work as soon as possible. She got shoes back on on the 30th, but I was out XC training with little Cruisey, so earliest I could get back on her was then. Not going to lie, was the best moment of my Birthday!
As odd as it seems the operation and time off has done us the world of good, we have bonded together again, everytime I walk past her fireld to the muck heap, she will lift her head, stop grazing and whinney. She really is everything to me, as much she can be a brat.
Currently she just seems just so happy and content. I even managed to get her out on a hack yesterday down the fields, which may not seem a big deal but only a few months ago I couldnt get her off the yard and into the first field without her planting her feet and refusing to move.
I'm not as such making any plans with Dee at the moment for this year. I'm simply going to get her back fit again, and if she seems happy start to take her once again out to locals to get her back out and about. Try some Hunter Trials, even if they are 2'6, she just needs her confidence back and if she doesn't want to do XC I'm not forcing her. Might just stick with some Dressage and BSJA instead. See what happens!

Thankyou to everyone over the past few months, I know a lot of people have followed mine and Dee's story and I cannot put into words how much I appreciate that. She is a one in a million horse, yet the most complicated and arrogant. Thankyou for all the comments, posts, mail- Even on Facebook! Hopefully this year we'll be back!
